Bavarian Future Envisioned

Just when you thought an electric car couldn't produce for the "need for speed" public... well it can't.  BMW envisions a sustainable answer to private transportation with a diesel counterpart. The Vision EfficientDynamics Concept boosts the silent efficiency of an electric motor with a 3.7 liter diesel engine performing comparable to an M3.  BMW is making the statement that they will be big players in the future of automotive design.  The technology accenting this concept is not one of those that are wasted in vain only to find its place in the history of auto shows.  Though this is a radical concept the upcoming M1 will boast a slightly modified drive train taken directly from it.  This car is built specifically to push the envelope on what is the standard for what cars should embody and BMW aims to be "the leader in sustainability" with EfficientDynamics... Advanced Diesel is coming.

335D : How BMW Does Diesel

We understand that we aren't all exactly hemorrhaging dollar bills, but we are allowed to dream. In fact, Go Diesel USA hasn't particularly been showcasing very many 'cheap' innovations, but a price is to be paid for perfection. It comes as no surprise that we would be in awe of what BMW engineers have managed to tailor for the American market in the form of a diesel luxury car. Behold the 335D, a masterpiece in German design, and champion of diesel efficiency. Equipped with a 3 Liter, 6 cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine, the 335D's power plant churns out a stout 265 horsepower and a whoping 425 foot-pounds of torque. The consensus opinion on the 335D model is that it's quite simply the most innovative diesel automobile to ever grip American roads. The efficiency of the 335D's diesel engine is nothing to scoff at, averaging 36 miles per gallon, and a range of 580 miles on a single tank. The ability to use blended biodiesel make the 335D a luxury winner in Go Diesel USA's opinion. A $900 tax credit from Uncle Sam for chosing a clean, efficient, diesel ain't too bad either.
